Aircraft cockpit clock

Here is a cockpit clock which equipped a number of German Second World War planes, whether they were fighters or bombers. The clock is very similar to those from Junghans but also to a Bréguet Type 11.

The clock body has been polished which enhances the look of the case and the different controls, notably the chronometer which is in brass. The rim which is in plastic as well as the clock face and hands are still in their original state.

Whether it is destined to serve as a desk clock or to be part of a control panel for a sports car – which is often the case – this object is acutely decorative with highly original finishing touches !
