Catch them while you can
After the fall of the Iron Curtain and the Eastern Bloc, it was easy to get hold of parts from Russian airplanes. This influx of "exotic" items, a real godsend for collectors, came to a premature end if one considers the size of the existing stock. Parts which, only a few years ago, were considered "good for sharing" have become more and more rare and have in some cases even completely disappeared from the market. They have given way to flight equipment: helmets and all sorts of other Russian flight accessories now flood the market.
So for those of you who love aircraft relics from the heyday of Russian air travel, here are two important items that will surely interest you.
The first come from a legendary airplane, symbolic of the cold war: the MIG 21.

The control grip is in excellent condition and has all its accessories. A very nice part to display on a shelf : effect guaranteed !

The second control stick is similar to one that was offered several months ago. It comes from a MIG 23 (sold).

The piece is in very good condition, which isn't at all surprising when one considers it seems not to have been employed. The handle is complete and no buttons are missing. Only a rubber cover is lacking, which should have blanked off an empty button (originally) and which was also the case on the model previously sold.
